Focussed on a specific ‘excellence’ theme, the program is designed to inspire and develop a deeper knowledge and applied experience of Manufacturing Excellence and link together with the Triple Bottom Line and the BUsiness of Sustainability.
The program has3 phases: measurement, planning and implementation, conducted over a nine month period. There will be much emphasis on participants preparing a final report and presentations that demonstrates implemented outcomes.
The inaugural 2007 LEAN to GREEN MasterClass Program commenced in March 2007.Key Questions
Participants will be encouraged to examine in detail a wide range of questions.

How is variation and process capability impacting the use of materials ?
How much material (in volume and dollar value) is being sent to land-fill ?
What is the overall cost of energy and efficiency of usage ?
How can relationships with suppliers and customers and product design minimise material waste ?
