Assessment

In order to complete the program, participants are required to:

  • attend and contribute to all classroom sessions
  • attend all site visits
  • undertake two practical work-based assignments, including a ‘fitness assessment’
  • participate in a final presentation at the conclusion of the program

Assignments

There are two workplace based assignments undertaken throughout the program. 

The first assignments is aimed at reviewing current work practices and identifying the people, products and process improvements to enhance best practice.

Having developed an understanding of key elements of the individuals organisation, the second assignment focusses on developing improvement deployment plans.

Session Follow-up Activities

After each session, participants receive a session follow-up sheet that outlines a range of activities to re-inforce the key learnings from each session.

These activities may range from reading and workplace assessment tasks, to web-site references and other training materials.

Pre-reading activities may be assigned prior to some of the sessions. 

Final Presentation

The program is concluded with a final presentation. 

Each participants is expected to select a topic and contribute to the presentation evening, which includes the presentaion of awards to site visit hosts and program participants.

The presentation is attended by people ranging from company sponsors and peers, to program presenters, industry representatives and previous participants.
