Achieving organisational excellence through best practice is what the Striving for Best Practice in Manufacturing program is all about.
The sessions adopt a practical, hands-on approach varying from the presentation of concepts and interactive classroom forums involving the sharing of experiences, to demonstrations, simulation activities and follow-up workplace exercises.
The learning approach extends beyond tools and techniques to a level of understanding of systems and processes that enables participants to evaluate and apply the most appropriate improvement approach to their workplace.
During each session, participants will be encouraged to explore a key concept that impacts the attainment of manufacturing best practice including:
Classroom sessions are complemented by site visits to organisations recognised as leaders in innovation and best practice. Visits are structured to enable participants to view aspects of best practice in action, and to network and interact with a range of industry professionals.
On completion of the program, participants will have gained an in-depth understanding of the range of approaches that may be taken in order to lead and progress towards best practice in manufacturing.
